SUNY Plattsburgh expected to recieve full reaccreditation through CCNE

Congratulations to SUNY Plattsburgh's Nursing Program. This past week they met with accreditors from CCNE and NYS Depart of Ed. The exit summary indicates we recieved (unofficiallly) full reaccreditation wihtout conditions for the next 10 years! Final report expected this summer. Yea team! Thank you to our awesome students, faculty and administration, community partners, and alumni.

Spring Planning Meeting

Thank you to members able to attend the spring planning meeting: Wanda Flynn, Tracey Tavano, JoAnn Gleeson-Kreig, David Curry, Debbie Zinser, Tami Pobocik, Katherine O'Brien, Heather Cutting, May Yu, and Catherine Bird. Our guests from NYSNA District 8, Lynn Howard, and Chelsea Menn joined our exploration of a March joint meeting topic. We have plans and back-up plans. The event schedule is coming together. New members, Katharine O'Brien, Heather Cutting, May Yu, and Catherine Bird have volunteered to develop a Facebook site for Gamma Delta. Check back for more information as the FB team begins our project.

Chapter Goals

The chapter board met and discussed goals for the coming year. We developed two priorities, 1) develop ways to increase chapter visibility and presence among our membership, and 2)increase member engagement! Please contact a board member if you have ideas.
